The draw is now posted for Moortown. Catering is available from 9.30 onwards. All competitors have access to free range balls on one of the best practice grounds you will find. Places are still available. After doing the pins yesterday the course is in great condition with fast greens.Call jon on 07890 908920 if you would like to play. Next is Lancaster on Monday 28th May. 36 Holes with the first time on their new tees. Warren and his staff have produced one of the best conditioned courses you will play anywhere in the world!

Welcome to the 1836 Tour

Events throughout the year will consist of 18 and 36 hole events.
Entry is open to all Professionals and Category 1 amateurs.
Pro ams are open to all professionals and amateur golfers
The events will take place across the North of England with events scheduled further afield.
Tour Director Jonathan Cheetham a PGA professional, has 23 years experience of playing in and organising professional events.

Having played on The European Tour and Asian Tour, he is ideally qualified to head up a great team to look after your schedule.

The 1836Tour is committed to playing at prestigious golf courses.

Gary Houston overcame a nightmare journey home from Madeira to win at Fixby Golf Club with a four under par 67. He got off to a great start with a birdie on the 468 yard first and turned in two under 34. Playing a tricky back nine with swirlng winds he made four more birdies to be home in 33. Finishing second was Danny Lord who set the pace with a 3 under par 68. Going out first Danny led for most of the day with two halves of 34 only to be pipped by the final group. Former Ryder Cup player Paul Broadhurst shot 69 on his first visit to Fixby to share third with last weeks winner Ryan Brown. The Tour moves to Moortown on Sunday 20th May where a big field is expected. Moortown has hosted numerous European Tour events and is a Regional venue for the Open championship.
